Halloween event held at NCC Monroe campus

Families from Monroe County are invited to the Monroe campus of Northampton Community College from 5 to 9 p.m. today for "A Haunting Fallfest," a safe alternative to trick-or-treating.The event will include a children's costume contest, games, arts and crafts and trick-or-treating through theme-decorated classrooms, and showings of the movie "Casper."
Admission is free. Proceeds from refreshment sales will benefit a family whose home was damaged by the recent flood in Pittston.The campus is located on Old Mill Road in Tannersville.
